Amanda Hickey LLB PRI
Amanda has more than 30 years of experience in business having worked in commercial business, both federal and state government as well as within not for profit organisations.
She holds certification as a family dispute resolution practitioner and is
a nationally accredited mediator.
Amanda is a trauma-informed practitioner and regularly works with people who are experienced
or who have experienced. She is trained in mediation methods which ensures that participants
are not further harmed by the mediation or facilitation process.
Amanda is appointed to a number of professional mediation panels including the Federal Ombudsman,
farm debt mediators, redress facilitators, and restorative justice practitioners,
With her depth of experience, Amanda can ensure that the process fits the needs of the individual dispute. No two people are the same and Amanda believes that participants in mediations deserve a mediator who can adapt to their needs.
Amanda has enjoyed passing on her experience to the next generation of mediators by
acting as a Judge and Mediator in the ICC International Commercial Mediation Competitions
in Australasia and in Paris.
Amanda holds a professional membership with the Resolution Insitute.
